Happy Tuesday Friends!
I spent the entire day with no classes or work… just studying. It was awful. But here is what I learned!
How to quickly change your mood and Feel Better/Wake-Up after either a Long and/or Lazy day:
- Take your bra off. Just do it. Amazing. Instant Freedom. I have a love/hate relationship with the Bra Inventor…
- Brush your teeth. A clean mouth just makes you feel….clean!
- Stretch. I promise it makes you 1,000 times more energized. And it is just good for you!
- Chug a huge mug of water. I say mug because I have 3 huge ones from my undergrad Party Days… they were not filled with water back then…
- Crack your back. I don’t want to hear the argument if this is good or bad for me… it feels way to amazing for me to stop!!
- Sing. Sing loud. Actually the louder the better. With my vocal skills (OK, lack thereof) it is probably for the best I am single and live alone….I usually choose a country song. The twangier the better 😉
And if none of these help….
Go for a run.

These are great tips. I have definitely learned that the more I put off in terms of maintaining health and wellness (weight training, physical therapy exercises, running) the more my productivity wanes. Here is to a productive Tuesday (hopefully)!
These are all spot on…especially the bra one…I cannot wait to take my bra off everyday!!
Ugh the bra thing is soooooo true. My favorite belt it out song? Anything Kelly Clarkson.
I love belting any song, that’s probably the only reason I continue to drive 30 minutes everyday to go to school haha. Ah! I love stretching, my favorite way to feel good!! And cracking my back always makes me feel amazing!
I know I always feel better braless.
Seriously, I always feel better after visiting the chiropractor – they totally crack me up!
This is great! I always feel 100% awake after I brush my teeth. As for belting out songs..I’ve been known to have more than a few concerts in my car with my lovely lack of vocal skills 🙂 and I have to have my coffee in the morning. It makes me feel better but not necessarily more awake It actually kind of relaxes me. Unless I go to Starbucks in the afternoons… I don’t know what the heck they put in my order some days but I feel majorly productive afterwards!
I agree with the teeth brushing! I also think drinking anything out of mug helps.. I don’t know what it is about mugs that makes me feel cozy, and something about feeling cozy just feels GOOD! 🙂
haha, I love this! As soon as I’m home for work and know that I won’t be going out again for the rest of the night the bra is OFF!
YES. Teeth-brushing, bra-removal…So necessary! I also wash my face…it’s totally necessary to wake me up and make me feel cleaner!
